Cencaluk


Melaka's famous condiment


Cencaluk is a condiment made of fermented small shrimps or krill. In Melaka, the shrimps is called Udang Geragau. The shrimps in the pinkish colored cencaluk are readily identifiable the taste is salty. The shrimps is available in particular season in Pantai Klebang, Limbongan, Tanjong Kling and several coastal areas.
